It’s much easier to make bricks out of Martian soil than we thought

Martian soil is surprisingly good for making bricks it seems. All it takes is a little pressure.

A team at the University of California San Diego has found that the soil, created from compounds on Earth mixed together to mimic the soil samples collected by the Mars rover, can be fashioned into materials needed for building a manned habitat on the red planet, without the need to “bake” the soil.
